Dear Students,

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education” – Martin Luther King

       These words by Martin Luther King perfectly describe our aim at ILM College of Arts and Science. When you develop critical thinking, you no longer take things for granted. You start questioning why things are the way they are. You learn about people who saw something wrong and had the courage to do things differently in their personal lives, or lead a nation to an impactful transformation. Yes, you need courage and tenacity, but when you get an education, you start realizing you can make a difference too.

       Beyond providing a sound education, we wish to provide our students a holistic learning experience for life. Our aim is to mould the students academically as well as personally. Character formation is our prime objective.

       Dear students, you are the nation-builders and you are the agents of change. There are many ways you can make an impact on the world. But there is no greater impact that you can make than spreading education and empowering people who will empower and teach people, who in turn, will empower and teach more.

       It is our fervent hope that the years that you spend in ILM would enable you to equip with leadership and managerial skills. The knowledge that you will gain, the fine qualities that you will imbibe and the character transformation will be your major contribution to your parents, to society, and to the nation.

       We invest our trust on you. You are our assets and we bank all our efforts to make you fit to the society. There are strong challenges to great efforts, but always remember great effort bears the sweet fruit of success. We want you to taste the fruit of success once and for the rest of your life, you will never rest.
