About the Courses
The Department of Commerce is the mother department of ILM College of Arts and Science. We are conducting two under graduate programs and one post graduate programme.(1) B.Com Computer Application (2) B.Com Finance and Taxation (3) M. Com Finance and Taxation.
Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Application is a three year under graduate program with six semesters that combine the study of both computer technology in the field of commerce. More specifically, it applies technologies for better growth of the economic system.
The curriculum comprises of business organisation, e-commerce, cost accounting, financial accounting, fundamentals of computer internet and web designing, business accounting software.
Students after finishing this can go for MBA, M.Com, ACCA, MIB.
Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Taxation is a specialized course in the field of tax and financial management. B.Com Finance and Taxation is a three year under graduate programme with six semesters. The course is designed to provide students with an effective understanding of the tax system and financial principles in an effective way. The curriculum comprises of financial management, income tax, financial accounting and cost accounting.
It also offeres a solid platform to the students who wish to pursue technical courses in future such as CA, CS, ICWA, M.Com, MBA, ACCA.
The Master of Commerce programme is a two year duration program with four semesters. The course covers the study of principles of finance, financial planning, accountancy and economic theory along with specialized focus on taxation. This programme helps students to deepen their knowledge in various aspects of commerce involved in trade and business. This course helps students to develop good knowledge in finance and taxation.
Eligibility
Bachelor of Commerce
To pursue this course you need to have science or commerce background with minimum 50% of marks at plus two level.
Master of Commerce
Applicants should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks in Bachelor of Commerce.
Mode of Selection
Admission process is conducted through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) under MG University.
