As per the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, RP No.437/2003’political activities, politically motivated strikes, dharnas ,gheraos etc. are strictly banned in ILM Arts College Campus and in the Hostels.
Students are allowed on the campus only in their full uniform. They are instructed to wear compulsorily the prescribed mode of uniform at all times within the campus, except on WEDNESDAY .Jeans Apparels in any form will not be permitted in the campus.
As per Govt .Order, RT No.346/05/H.Edn.dated 01-03-2005, usage of mobile phones is strictly banned inside the campus. In case of violation, appropriate punishment will be imposed by the disciplinary authority against such students. All the teachers of the institution have been given the authority to impound mobile phones from the students with in the campus.In Hostels, usage of mobile phones are restricted, subject to the ‘I.L.M HOSTEL RULES’.
Ragging is a criminal offence. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the campus as per the “Kerala Ragging Prohibition Act of 1998”.Students are warned not to indulge in any ragging incident, directly or indirectly either in the Campus or in The Hostel.
Identity cards are issued to each student, studying in ILM College of Arts and Science, Methala.The students are instructed to wear their identity cards, at all times during the working days, with in the institution.
Students are strictly warned against the consumption of liquors, narcotic drugs and other intoxicating materials inside the Campus or in Hostels .Those who violate the rule, will have to meet severe punishment from the college authorities, including ‘IMMEDIATE EXPULSION’ from the college.
