Department Computer Application

The Department of Computer Applications,in I.L.M Arts &Science College, is one of the prestigious department of the ILM College of Arts and Science .We are conducting the B.C.A (Bachelor of Computer Applications), the U.G program. The department also offers complementary, subsidiary and vocational options for other U.G programs(B.B.A & B.Com) .Modern age can rightly be called as 'Age of Computers'. 'Computer Literacy' and 'Computer Competency' have become unavoidable subjects in all the areas of our life, whether it is personal, commercial, political, economical, medical,  or  educational.  The department promotes a students’ centered approach in 'Teaching and Learning process'. We conduct seminars, presentations,  project works, students assignments etc. We are also employing the ICT enabled teaching methods, for the students. The department is also playing an important role in administering the college website and the office computer requirements.We have a well equipped and well furnished Computer Lab.

• To ensure adequate level of Computer Literacy among all the students of the istitution and  all associating the institution.

• To promote' Information Technology' as a practice among students, staff and interested parties.
• To plan and frame adequate machinery for adapting modern technological changes in’ Information Technology’ as and when necessary.
